I doubt Byakuya is stronger than Shunsui, his bankai got alot of hype. Also just because Byakuya has a strong shikai doesn't mean he'll be equal or stronger than Shunsui, because Shunsui in shikai is still stronger than alot of bankai captains.​

it was actually shunsui who stated this and he stated that the royal guard was stronger then the gotei 13 wether that was related to yama being alive or dead we will never know but we can assume that shunsui was talking present stats so current gotei <royal guard is how i gauge this knowledge.

kyoraku clearly says they surpass the strenght of all 13 squads combined...yea he was saying the zero division>13 squads period...nano is his vice captain I'm pretty sure she has felt kyoraku spiritual pressure before...um there shikai sp is lower than Yama's so how is their bankai sp going to be higher than Yama's?...I know that having greater sp don't mean you win all the time but Yama was basically untouchable in bankai form.

Naw he's not inferior to shikai kyoraku in his bankai form if he is then its not by much...lol starkk was not useing his wolves or ceros guns when he fought kyoraku for the second time around all he was useing was 2 reagular swords, like I said he was powerless kyoraku sneak attack was what did it to him...yea he's defiantly not beating rose bankai with just his shikai nope not happening at all nothing in kyoraku shikai can defend him from rose bankai.
