Kishi is so heavy-handed with his parallels, especially between Naruto and Sasuke, that it becomes nauseating at times. This is the least subtle parallel yet.

People are coming up with the most obnoxious reasons why Sasuke cannot be Indra ("Sasuke has received help at __ point, therefore he can't be Indra", etc). It'll be even more pathetic when Kishi confirms the OBVIOUS fact that Sasuke is the current Indra incarnation... will your jaws hit the ground as hard as they did when it was revealed that Tobi = Obito after like 6 chapters of Tobi dropping Obito-related hints? Will people ***** and moan like they did when Naruto decided to forgive Nagato rather than kill him in cold blood, after an entire story arc dedicated to breaking the chain of hatred?

It seems like the more foreshadowing Kishi adds, the more fans deny the obvious.

Maybe every generation has had a reincarnation of the brothers. Madara was the reincarnation of Indra and when he unplugged himself from the Mazou. Sasuke was born as the next Indra. Just an idea but the Sage did say their chakra never disappeared and it seems like Hagoromo has teleported through time to meet past reincarnations before which proves there's multiple "Asura" and "Indra" although Naruto is the purest reincarnation of Asura which symbolizes The Curse of Hatred. But then that wouldn't make sense either since Naruto and Sasuke are obviously portrayed as equals by Kishi and Madara is pretty godlike right now lol.

So we'll have to see what happens!!
