Let me ask you something. Why would Kishimoto kill off Neji (probably the most relevant Hyuga in the series) just to make more time for Hinata to shine? Why would he kill off a Hyuga that is way more important than a lesser Hyuga? Hinata is from the main branch which meant that her role or responsibility was much more important than Neji's. It was Neji's responsibility to protect the main household (thus that meant sacrificing whatever means to keep "lady Hinata" safe), but Hinata's involvement throughout the whole story is miniscule at best. She has done nothing that would even suffice as achievable, and you want to talk about hope for her in the future. Cut the bs, will you? Her importance to Naruto is the same thing that it has been since part one - to be a pairing or caring fodder to Naruto in the future, but that is all. There is nothing else that she can do. Her being a part of the main villains defeat? Have you even been paying attention to this manga?
The same reason gai is being killed off; to give room for lee, just as Neji was killed to give room for Hinata. Their clone characters
Don't get why Lady Hinata is in quotations.
She has done so, see later on in the post.
Part 1 Hinata focused more on the clan than love, part 2 lowered her down
I have, and it seems to be a theme that Hinata helps Naruto against villian, they're theme revolves around taoism's yinyang principle after all, of which yin is to support yang, amount other things anyways
Her attempt with Pain during Konoha destruction, ended in a laughable casualty. She tried to rescue Naruto, but ended in failure and almost cost Naruto his life
She was the trigger that saved Naruto, and in the end, Naruto lived, that's all that matters. Don't bring what ifs into this. because I can do that for tons of characters, especially Naruto, kiba, Neji, choji, and shikamaru, who all nearly died trying to save sasuke's ass, even tho that too ended in failure. Or itachi, his attempt at saving sasuke from obito failed, or Minato trying to save kushina, and Tsunade, iruka, sasuke, Neji too have also all risked death for Naruto, so meh.
If she somehow is involved in this mess with Madara then the outcome will be the same, thus dying in front of the one she loves and triggering Naruto's rage to defeat Madara. This is the only thing that would be considered appropriate.
Hinata has a very thick plot shield thanks to Naruto and Neji, so she's not gonna die.
You talk about huge roles. As if someone of her caliber will even get a huge role. If someone is getting a huge role then it will be Sakura. Why the hell would Hinata's role be over Sakura's?
Ah yes "someone of her caliber"... Because We all know side characters can never shine, right? I mean, its not like she's done anything important before lmao
I'll tell you why; the same reason lee and shikamaru have roles over Sakura. You're acting like its perfectly fine for someone with a **** to pass Sakura, but suddenly when it's someone with a vagina...Woah there, can't have that happening now, can we? I mean haha its not like Ino and Tsunade have actually done anything
Name one major thing that this girl has done that was official and non-selfish in this manga? The only thing this girl cares about is Naruto. She will do anything that is stupid just to protect Naruto.
And now you're calling her selfish?! Huh, whatever... That's an argument in and if itself for another time.
Now, in regards to the quote...
you dismiss Hinata's role in stopping the Juubi along side with Ino. Neither could have done it without the other.
Saved Naruto from Pain; and in turn - Konoha
Saved him from Obito's TNJ - Pretty pivitol role in the Obito-Naruto parallel I might add
Saved him from Neji - He would have been killed otherwise
Saved him from wooden spikes
Saved Neji during the War from a Sneak attack
In 616, when Naruto was spreading chakra to the alliance; Obito via the Juubi tried to stop him; yet it was Hinata who deflects that tailed beast's attack and allows for Naruto to continue on; giving the alliance power
In 617; She fixes Naruto's shoulder via Jyuuken - allowing for him to complete his Rasenshuriken attack against Obito and in turn preventing any catastrophe.
In fact, both in the Chuunin Exams and [partially] after Pain's arc, Hinata is the reason he chooses to control Kurama's power.
