Foreshadowing from Kishi?

Yes, but the thing is, he was using the juubi's power despite the fact that the statue was removed, proving that you don't need the statue in order to use juubi powers.

And I agree with that, you don't need the statue, but the chakra that resides inside, which is somehow transformed into natural energy the moment it enters it and fuses to form the ten tails.

I always thought that Naruto's final and strongest power-up would be an epic sage mode, I would like that. No bijuu/jubbi just sage mode.

This is very plausible and I will give you rep for this effort. However, personally I do not want this to happen. It would bring Naruto to a whole new level, a level that Sasuke cannot reach (unless he is given a MAJOR power up) and that itself will be too one-sided when it comes to their final fight, thus leading to a predictable and anti-climactic conclusion of the series. Plus, we have already seen most of power that is blessed to people who become the Juubi's Jinchuuriki - previously Obito and now Madara, and potentially Naruto in the future. It's getting too repetitive. Madara has 8.5 Bijuus in him (minus a bit of the Hachibi and the Ichibi) so it's safe to assume that current Madara is almost as powerful as a Jinchuuriki of the full Juubi. We really do not need to see the full power of a Juubi's Jinchuuriki, but hey it's Kishi's choice.

I doubt it as this point. People have continuously come up with such great and elaborate theories and Kishi just throws out another asspull. At this point I think all his idea's come from the "tipsy nights," he has..

Take a look at the following. As you know, it only takes a piece of every tailed beast to form the juubi, and Naruto's receiving all of the pieces needed. We also know that Naruto's pseudo Juubi mode won't be as powerful as the juubi jinchurikis that we've seen. However...... Here's a couple of scans that make me think Kishi's foreshadowing something.

The juubi is made out of natural energy. Now here's the thing. Since Naruto's a sage, that means he knows how to gather natural energy. So doesn't that technically mean that although he won't have a fully powered juubi, that he can gather natural energy to complete it? Of course, as we know, it takes a lot of natural energy. That means it would take a ton of time to do that right? Well this is where I think there's a 2nd aspect of foreshadowing. Remember when Naruto first activated BSM?

"Absorbing natural energy is faster now." So having a biju's chakra greatly increases the speed at which natural energy is absorbed. Why would Kishi have Naruto mention this unless he planned to make it a factor later? So, he's about to have the chakra of every biju, meaning, in all likelihood, his natural energy absorption will be even higher. Could Kishi have introduced this in order to set up Naruto gathering natural energy via senjutsu in order for him to eventually gain the power of the full jubi? In case you're wondering, the reason why Madara's not doing this is because he doesn't know senjutsu. He stole Hashirama's sage mode. He does not know how to gather natural energy.

Great theory,- for anyone saying that you need the gedo mazou- did you guys forget that it's arm is just laying around somewhere in the kamui dimsension?

But I think Madara Uzumaki Uchiha just added the last piece to it^^
putting both together this would perfectly match as a power up for naruto
