both psychopaths and sociopaths have no conscience and disregard the needs of others. however, sociopaths resort only to making enemies and alienating themselves, whereas psychopaths have criminal intent.

Sociopaths typically lack feelings. They dont have to behave abnormal they can be completly integrated in society but still be completly empty. Even being characterized as social butterflys they tend to not be proud of success or upset at failures, just masking their face to the point where they could watch a woman beat her own baby to death and be unchanged.

Phsycopaths... just google it.

Sociopath is someone that kills or hurt people and doesn't feel bad or really care about it... Phychopath if they were to kill someone they would be in a state of panic and going crazy just thinking about it and would have nightmares... But both are crazy...

I gave scenarios they aren't always killers...

A Sociopath is able to blend into society but still has no ability to emphasize with "normal" being, and generally they think everything through to the letter.

A Psychopath is more or less described as a common murderer. Acting mostly on instinct.

That's what makes sociopaths so scary.

Basically, a psychopath isn't completely relentless and is incapable of feeling remorse or guilt for their actions whilst a sociopath can.

A sociopath has no social mores and will be relentless to an extent, if it aids in reaching their final goal. But, it should be noted that even a sociopath's emotions normally surface under specific conditions.
