Viz clear-up: Hagoromo's brother did not seal half of the Juubi within him

Yes, after they grow up. She eats the fruit, then has kids. What about the time in between their birth and the sealing. I doubt the juubi was just doing nothing.

I disagree with Kaguya being strongest or stronger than even Jinchuuriki. If she was really that powerful, she would have faced the Juubi instead of her own sons. Furthermore, Ninjutsu was not invented during her time, and all she can utilize is chakra nothing more. We have no idea what sort of powers the fruit grants, and she very well didn't possess Rinnegan.

Hagoromo might have just said his mother was ''strongest'' as sign of respect to his mother. Not to mention, Hagoromo has no idea of modern day Ninjutsu, Taijutsu, and Genjutsu. There is no way she is the strongest or even stronger than Juubi.

This is similar to what I was thinking. I don't see how she would be stronger than the Sage and his brother since they were the ones to defeat the Juubi and she couldn't even use ninjutsu. Let alone get by Omnyonton.

I think Hagoromo was just hyping her up since she was the first person with chakra and solo'd a human war.

How so?

It takes 1000 years for a fruit to spawn. One single fruit. Whereas the Juubi was able to recover it's chakra in mere hours. There's a stark difference in recovery time, and you can bet it also correlates to it's potency in power. Hagoromo already confirmed it. His mother was the most powerful. End of story.

Off topic point though...

This might be the link needed to prove why the Uzumaki and Hyuuga aren't as powerful as their Senju and Uchiha counterparts. If Hagoromo's brother is truly the missing link, that is why they are weaker. Because Hagoromo was the Juubi Jin, whereas his brother wasn't and this made his sons or potential offspring more powerful.​

The pronoun is 己 "onore". It sure looks like he is saying "me" to me. I don't know if it's one of those cases where it's the language being ambiguous, and the translators had to make a call, because it's possible that adding the suffix to make an "I" into a "we" might be optional.

Onore can mean I, you, we or oneself(lves). It's been used against me whilst with friends, using it to mean yourselves in a very derogatory manner.

This is a case of Kishimoto and the language being ambiguous. Unfortunately, Kishimoto has a more vague style of writing compared to his other Shounen counterparts and so, an already tricky language to translate is made further difficult.

All of the translation companies have made good calls but with different outcomes.

She did take most of its Chakra which is concentrated in the fruit, so yes, the Juubi was in an emaciated form when it became alive.

A Banana Tree expends all its energy in creating the Banana Flower and Fruit then dies afterwards, only to be reborn again through its shoots.
