On this page, it shows the sage and his brother battling the juubi.

Did anyone else notice that the sage and his brother look EXACTLY like Obito and Madara in Juubi Jin mode, minus the onmyoudon?

Sage has the spiky hair with two horns along with his staff with six rings-Obito
His brother has long hair with the horns and a staff lacking all six rings- Madara

I doubt it really has any significance but I thought that it was a pretty cool find nonetheless!

The Sage's brother isn't really relevant since the cycle of hatred sprouted from Hagoromo's 2 sons, nothing to do with his brother.

Also, VIZ translations say the Sage's brother held no piece of the Juubi, making him less significant, unless he was the one who sealed the Juubi.

Obito's staff is different from Hagoromo's . & look closely even his Brother's staff is different and it's different from all SO6P's staffs we've seen . :d

Yeah hagoromo's staff has a little hook on the bottom, and his brothers looks like it just has two little balls on it (no pun intended). But besides that, I just mean their overall appearance is the same
