Hinata has the duty of righting Kaguya's sin. She will deal with the Fruit in a way that brings peace to the God Tree. Perhaps merely her consuming it without it being in a quest for power (but out of responsibility to defend it) will fulfill her destiny.

Playing off of the Princess Kaguya reference, it may be possible that Hinata will become 'snared' by the Juubi and 'reborn' to be Kaguya (who was found in a glowing bamboo shoot, according to legend).

There are a number of different ways it can play out - but it would seem a foregone conclusion that Hinata, as a descendant of the Otsutsuki, deal with the fruit per her shared destiny with Naruto.

They won't play the main role. That is obviously Naruto and Sasuke beating Madara. However, there still exist other external adversaries that need to be put to rest such as Tenzo-Spiral Zetsu.

It's okay. You'll be screaming: "Fan service!" for about the next year, not understanding how any of what is about to transpire makes any sense or has any relevance to much of anything.

Honestly, I blame Kishimoto. He sucks at telling stories. Does a great job of incorporating insane amounts of oriental legends and mythology... not so great at maintaining a coherent and concurrent plot. He chooses to explain everything through extended monologues rather than distribute information creatively through the plot and panels. This is why people have the impression that he doesn't think ahead and relies upon 'asspulls.'

Which, he occasionally does, but it mostly has to do with character development or how a character overcomes an obstacle (or... just bypasses an obstacle because it's convenient to the plot with no explanation or some silly explanation). The Hyuuga, Senju, Uchiha, Uzumaki, etc relationships were all well thought out and pretty well set in stone back when the series was created, as well as the character themes.

It won't make any sense to you. But take heart in knowing that it makes sense to someone beneath your intellectual capacity.

You're mad because you're too blinded by your frustration that she doesn't have what it takes to become a Hyuga Leader just because of her traits and her so called "Lackluster" just really annoyed you so much in which you decide to use the most irrelavant character never even demonstrated her skills with her feats or being utilsed in the series was never shown just to make you feel better.

You're are being to ignorant at your finniest when Hinata clearly shown her significance amount of her character development in this series especialyl she's been with Naruto for the most part, especially she's was even foreshadowed that she's clearly going to surpass her father and Neji and becoming and climbing up as the leader of the Hyuga clan while we Hanabi never have been shown once in this Part 2.
