Since Lee is up against a kage, he'll no doubt enter gates. Meanwhile, the 4th Kazekage raises gold dust which can be used for both offensive and defensive purposes. In the end, Lee will have trouble getting through 4th Kazekage's offences and defences.

But his sand is even slower than gaara's and he doesn't have control over it like gaara. Lee's speed will just overwhelm him and asa kujaku will finish it.

Where was it supported that his sand is slower than Gaara's? On the contrary, the manga supports that their sand has roughly equal speed (

). His reactions are definitely worse and he lacks an auto defence so Lee does have his chances. I don't think Asa Kujaku, at least Lee's featless version, can burn gold.

Hard to say. Does the 4th Kazekage utilize a gold armor similar to Gaara's sand armor? I also don't see much of a reason to believe the 4th's sand can keep up with 6th Gated Lee.

Even more so if the Kazekage's sand is equal in speed to Gaara's, because it's a fact that Lee is faster than that. The question is if the Kazekage can withstand the barrage Lee deals, which depends on wether he can use armor or not.

Misukage commented on speed difference and Gaara said the movement slowed down when he used gold because it is 20 times heavier:

So it is safe to say that in terms of speed Lee>Gaara's sand>gold dust

Awesome points. You reckon 6G Lee can beat Gaara? I don't think Armour of Sand can soak up the damage caused by Morning Peacock.

I don't think he can, Gaara has many advantages over his father like versatilaty, sand clones, better reaction timing, better range (like huge sand arms that were quarter size of a bijuu), better flight capabilities etc.

Also Sasuke said that fire was not working on Gaara's sand:

I was thinking more along the lines of getting right up close to Gaara and then using Morning Peacock, kind of like what Gai did here [

]. That way he'd be having to deal with the flames produced by Asa Kujaku and the strength and speed of the punches (which are quick enough to actually create flames/fireballs from striking alone).

So the reason he can win is because he does not create fire, but he also has the power/speed of a punch?
That seems plausable but i still give match to Gaara until Lee get more feats and powerups.

I think Lee beats any version of Gaara including SRA (that fought Kimimaro), part 2 is different though.

To be fair, Gaara's father is pretty featless. This was the guy that use to use his gold dust to surprises Shukaku amd we don't know what other jutsu or skill he has with his gold dust. Neither was is a 100% Fourth Kazekage we saw either.
