Kishi already confirmed through Naruto, "If we both fight, we both gonna die...."
You read it right and it's true if that happens because Kishi said that he also has to think for the either one while developing the one of them.
So, in the end, Naruto's level and Sasuke's level gonna be equal. Both will fight at full strength and may die if they continues.
But that's not gonna happen.
In the current chapter 670, Hagoromo said that his sons' chakra were reincarnated. Ashura's into Naruto and without a doubt Indra's into Sasuke since Sasuke is the main rival for the main character Naruto.
That also means that the quarrel between the two brothers haven't settled yet for so many years and Hagoromo is witnessing where the destiny of his reincarnated sons will go in every era.
Like the manga named, NARUTO, and the main character Naruto is either supposed to live till the end by killing his rival/final villain or supposed to die and the manga ends. That's a common thing in most of the manga/anime I've read.
But in this manga's case, the latter won't happen. There's a reason because first Naruto is the main character who is entrusted peace by the past generations and secondly, another Naruto won't born to settle the quarrel of the ages.
Meaning, if Naruto and Sasuke dies, the chakra of the Sage's brother will be reincarnated into another generation and the CYCLE OF WAR will go on continuously.
To end that cycle, killing Naruto and Sasuke or either one of them is not a solution to end the manga for good.
Both Naruto and Sasuke will have to come to terms to settle their problems which was passed down through generations from Sage's sons' time. They are like the two sides of the same coin.
Now you might think that if this is the solution then Kishi will settle everything in this arc and we won't get Naruto vs Sasuke, the final battle. No, that's not gonna happen believe me
Naruto and Sasuke will fight and then come to terms. Now, again the problem arises that how come they will come to terms when they gonna fight, right?
Kishi already stated this through Naruto once again. Remember? No?
Naruto said that they understands each others' feelings more clearly than words when their fists clashes.
And that's why Naruto vs Sasuke will happen and they will understand each others' job in maintaining the peace more properly and settle down at their respective places. And due to this, there won't come another generation with a new Naruto and Sasuke or a new Ashura and Indra. Now how the future will stand after Naruto and Sasuke is up to them how they sought out the best way of maintaining the balance.
Nagato said that Naruto is the bridge to Peace. IMO, Naruto isn't the bridge. The bridge itself is the PEACE. which is in the hands of the two main ends, Naruto and Sasuke, whereas all the shinobis are the pillars to this long bridge. If the shinobis acts accordingly, the peace will be maintained.
And now I am eager to wait for that end to come :x3:
