I happen to believe that the Kaguya Clans blood line is linked to Kaguya Ootsutsuki.
This is why;
The Kaguya Clan were known for their hunger for battle and power, they were a destructive clan.. they also share the same name (KAGUYA). When the SO6P was describing his mother Kaguya Ootsutsuki to Naruto all he said was that she came from a unknown place to this land to eat a forbidden fruit. The SO6P never specifically says that Kaguy ate the fruit to "GAIN" power but when he mentions that after Kaguya ate the fruit she become the strongest being and ruled over all the land, he does make her seem like she just wanted power and because of this people began to compare her to a "demon" and began to worship her out of fear. Kaguyas personality resembles that of the Kaguya Clan and by Kaguya eating this fruit she planted the seeds for war and chaos, It's what she wanted and came to do to this land, she was EVIL and the first to commit a sin and corrupt the land.
Kimimaro was the last survivor of the Kaguya Clan before they went extinct, Kimimaros features resemble those of Indra and Kaguya Ootsutsuki.
