none of the choices above. it should end with everyone giving naruto the approval of being the hokage but him turning it down, because any seat of power is the opposite of being humble. naruto would have to be some type of hermit or wanderer to wander the earth and change the people he comes across, rather than sit atop a government in separated villages (which should no longer be, hint the shinobi alliance) .

Time Skip: Shikamaru is Hokage and visiting the ninja academy. He's talking about how two heroes saved the entire world from evil. The kids ask what became of them and Shikamaru answers that he doesn't know.

One child shouts "I know what happened to them!".

Skips to a panel showing Naruto & Sasuke's back and the Moon.

The child demeanor changes and his face warps into a twisted smile, "They've failed"

Suddenly, all the children's faces turn into Madara's and they began to rise all zombie like.

The Sky reddens and it skips to Naruto & Sasuke once again, in the actual world fighting off a perfected Juubi Madara & the new Bijuu's he's created.

I'd personally quite like Naruto to die and Sasuke become the Hokage in his honour. Naruto's sacrifice is what brings about peace and Sasuke upholds it. There's something beautiful in that for me.
