Two brothers means two halves of Juubi? And how does that relate to Naruto?

Since there were two sages, Hagoromo and his brother, does that mean that instead of the full Juubi being sealed in Hagoromo like originally thought, Hagoromo and his brother each sealed half of the Juubi inside each if them?

So what if what's going to be "entrusted" to Naruto is the other half of the Juubi (or just it's chakra) as well as the means to control it (i.e. the rinnegan)?

seriously I need to change my avatar....well in my opinion I think the sage's brother died in that fight against the juubi....because maybe he sacrificed his life helping rikoudo rikoudo tame the juubi and the sealing of it..they both went against a god(juubi)so of course there will be casualties..

It kinda sounds like it, but his brother probably died at some point and that's when the Sage had to fight the other half of the Jubi and went to his deathbed and split the Jubi into 9 different Tailed Beasts

Wow, thought this was my comment at first glance, nice avatar bro! But yeah, I could see him dying as a result of that fight. I pretty much said that the brother was the first one with the rinnegan on this thread
