it's hilarious that you thing a kage lvel ninja like Ay with years more experience than Sasuke is going to fall prey to Genjutsu. It's never going to happen.

When Madara caught Ay in Genjutsu, he forced him to look into his eyes by grabbing him with Susanoo and making him look at his face. And Ay was even disgusted with himself for succumbing to it. In normal circumstances it will never work.

It's amazing that V2 had to be restricted for Sasuke to even stand a chance in this fight. V1 is still fast, sharingan may be able to keep up but for how long, Ay has way more chakra and can last a whole lot longer until Sasuke starts to feel fatigue. Ay will eventually catch him with his speed, he cannot evade forever.

CS2 isn't tanking a Lariat either.

Ay has not show to avoid the eyes and look at feet for combat. Check. He looks at Sasuke and has no idea when the Genjutsu will hit him, for Amaterasu, he reacted to the Blood Trail. Check. The rest is speculation, as Ae was looking at Sasuke's eyes the whole time whilst he tried dodging Amaterasu - so much for his evasive maneuvers for Genjutsu. Kinda puts a dent in this. There is no way the Sasuke being discussed here will be able to replicate that feat when a stronger version of himself never succeeded in putting Ay in a genjutsu, and he does not have the tools necessary to distract Ay, as well as force him to look in his eyes.
