Lol, talk about inciting the rage. Tbh we haven't seen anything form him yet that makes me say, "Yeah thats why Tobirama made him Hokage" So that obviously means his true feats are still unknown even by this point.

Well we shall see who is right eventually. You are advocating adding nothing to the Naruto verse, I am advocating that everything is more or less connected. What would you rather the shinigami be?

A random spirit? A creature that simple exists that just happens to be summoned by Uzumaki jutsu?

Am I right in thinking that idea is boring? If Kaguya does turn out to be the shinigami of RDS wouldn't that be interesting and enriching for the overall universe?

You jump to conclusions that I didn't imply. I don't think kaguya is the shinigami, I do think someone related to the sage is. Where did you get the rest from?

I recognise it's possible and backed up by mythology but I can't see kaguya being the shinigami. Nothing about the shinigami resembles her.
It would be poetic if the sages brother is the shinigami. The sage through rinne tensei and creation of all things has the power to give life while his brother has the power to take life.
I wouldn't mind if I was wrong at all.
