Look, I can also make explanations that come in handy whenever I need them to be relevant to the story, maybe I should ask Kishi if I can write a chapter once in a while.

Reincarnation was key to show the strength of the past Kages, Hokages in particular. But yeah, you could say Kishi lost the plot somewhere in the middle. But it's not BS, not by any means.
Pell couldn't fly away in time. He had a few seconds before the bomb went off and he couldn't drop it somewhere because it would have caught everyone in the blast. The only option he had was to take it upwards to ensure everyone else survived at the expense of his own life. So I say it again, Pell surviving makes no sense.
I really don't see what he said wrong..he made complete sense with the child of destiny bullshit going against the main part of Naruto character in part 1

I would be fine with it if he foreshadowed that a bit more. The only thing he foreshadowed was the death god sacrifices couldn't be brought back.

Well at least his manga had a good start.
I would actually suggest that someone read the first 30 chapters of Naruto rather than the first 50 chapters of One Piece.
These One Piece fans are funny..

First of all the power scaling, let's recap what Madara was able to do:
1. in Edo Tensei mode (ie weakened) he wiped the floor with the 5 kage, in fact he toyed with them and beat the living daylight out of them with his clones
2. once he was revived he wiped the floor with the entire alliance (the Hokage, the Kage, Naruo&Sasuke, Bee, all the jounin, Orochimaru, ...) and the Bijuu, they couldn't really do anything to him and to top it off he absorbed the Bijuu
3. than after he absorbed them and became the demi-sage
not to mention he owned Minato and Hashirama in the same way Goku would own a house cat
and than we get Gai who just for the price of his life can go and deal damage to Madara when the entire alliance failed to do so to his weaker state?! atm from what we have seen Gai could own the entire Akatsuki with one finger, what's up with that? he would own pre-TS Hiruzen and Orochimaru in about 0.00001 sec and he makes Jiraiya (once hailed as a legend) a fodder. Now Naruto to me officially has worse power scaling than Fairy Tail. And every Naruto fan who complained about Natsu beating Sting and Rogue has absolutely no say in this because I bet everything I have that if say ... Lyon from FT was beating around a powerd up Acnologia just for the price of his life you would all rage.
First my fav characters (Minato, Jiraiya, Nagato, Itachi) were made irrelevant by Hasshirama and Madara which I could stomach but now by Gai, I mean wtf?
That to me is catastrophically bad power scaling

The real issue I have with this chapter is that it pretty much contradicts both part 1 and part 2 of Naruto.
First of all this chapter made the Senju brother look like a noone who worked hard to become a legend, but that concept went out the widow a looooooooooong time ago in Naruto, if hard work was enough to be strong than Rock Lee should be kicking everyone's ass right now, but he's not, in fact he's not really all that strong. But it's not only him, many shinobi work hard but don't become even comparable to Naruto or Sasuke (and these are still freaking kids). Kishi may write about hard work paying off in the speech bubbles but the manga as a whole disagrees with him, which is funny because he is the author, I have no idea what exactly he wants from that at this point.
Second is the fact that the Senju brother was ''untalented'' and now we get his reincarnation who learned Rasengan in no time, who mastered Sage mode in enough time to fight Pain (when even his genius father is bad at it), not only that but there is also the Senju DNA and Hashirama's cells which pretty much lead the course of power through all shippuden from Orochimaru to Madara, just that simple DNA of the apparently ''untalented'' branch of the sage family bringing ppl to the top tiers of Naruto, yes the Senju brother was untalented indeed, well Hashirama disagrees heavily, as does Tobirama btw
third is the fact that the noone that Naruto was supposed to be is now the chosen one, the strong genius ninja and now even the reincarnation of Sage's son, and than to top it off Kishi say's that even if your parents are talented it doesn't mean you will be too and he says it to Naruto, when he is basically at the TOP of Narutoverse and mastered techs his father never could
not to mention the brother he pulled out of his behind
i really didn't want to get into this and just said it was fine, but no imo both chapters were catastrophic for the Naruto series as a whole, this thread was instigated by certain comments I read today

How I view Naruto-Naruto and Rock Lee are very similar. They are all about defying destiny through hardwork bro. Come to find out 400 chapters later Naruto was destined to be the child of phrophecy. That undermines the whole point of the show bro and there is no way around it
How I view Luffy-Luffy wants to be the PK no matter what and he's going to work hard toward it an beat everyone in his way. It basically his dream What would make OP bullshit to me if only D's could get the OP. That would undermine Luffy's character and the main theme of "dreams" in OP because that would mean him an a sective few was destined to be PK and no one else dream to be PK mattered.
There are themes in shows set from the begining that writers can't deviate from. If they deviate from it I don't care I call it out whether its Oda or Kishi

my point is this chapter got the whole fanbase hyped, i've never been this hyped for a naruto chapter for a long long time.

Also Naruto has several goals. How can Luffy's goal of greed be bigger than Naruto's goal of appreciation, saving his friend, and saving the world which was potentially being threatened by his friend.
