Looks: He wears a standard uniform for samurai of the southern province. It consists of a black turtleneck, blue pants, a blue & gold vest with flames towards the bottom, and dark-plated armor for his arms and legs. He wears the honorary red, fur vest that signifies he is the head of his clan. Yoshi has dark brown hair that runs along his face is tied towards the top in a pseudo ponytail. He has dark brown eyes and fair skin due to living in the cold climate with barely any sun.
Personality: Yoshi tends to be shy and realistic. He is a quick thinker and very observant. He is the embodiment of pure modesty. He can't bear to be taken care of but rather prefers to take care of others. He has keen, good intellects, and is very discriminating about those with whom he associates with. Handles business matters with good judgment and is not easily imposed upon or deceived.
Yoshi is also usually materialistic in his view of life, analyzing & reasoning everything from his own way of thinking outwards. He is and attracted to only that knowledge that can be applied usefully. He will happily share his information with anyone, if he confirms their own usefulness in the world, and brings them eagerly out of their shells.
Yoshi can become a good literary critic, being quick to see the weak points. He is extremely fond of harmony in his surroundings, having excellent taste about his house and attire. Yoshi always wants things that are in good taste, and elegant.
Finally, Yoshi is usually fastidious about his personal appearance. Has a great respect for rank and position and is a great supporter of the law and the law's decisions. He usually develops this skill to improve himself and his surroundings as he places great pride in tangible achievements. People like Yoshi spend part of their lives heading off on detours and then suddenly emerging as someone with a remarkable sense of direction. He can adjust easily to change once he finds a way of fitting the new situation into his routine.

Background Info
History: Yoshimune had grown up in a troubled time when many wars ran rampant throughout the world and the Land of Iron. Though he remembers very little, he remembers the pain and suffering he experienced. For in that time Yoshimune lost his dear parents. They had been killed by rogue shinobi from Kirigakure or at least he assumed since they wore the headband with the village symbol on it. The result of their loss left Yoshi with no home and no family. A sad fate for a child indeed.
After traveling towards the south for some time, Yoshimune came upon a small temple called "Akai Ryuu" or "Red Dragon". The temple was very humble in its appearance and its people, the Red Monks, were humble people as well. They took in the poor orphan and gave him the basic necessities. Along with that, he was taught in many subjects and basic swordsmanship. As he grew up and matured into a fine man, the elders nominated Yoshi as the head of their clan, the Tokugawa. His story was that of a compelling man who could unite people's hearts. They placed their hopes in him and entered him into the samurai of the Land of Iron. He was to receive training from the legendary samurai, Ishiro. So he headed for the capital not knowing that his teacher was Yondaime Shogun. After a long journey, he met with Ishiro and commenced his training, all the while working to improve himself to honor his clan and parents.
Other
Tokugawa carries two standard katana he names Masamune and Muramasa. He also wears plated armor as shown in the picture below (spoiler). This helps when in close combat and to protect himself. The plated armor isn't special its just normal armor.
