Theory on current chapters and core storyline

I believe that madara is a minor villain, a henchman of sorts to the main villain or villains. I believe that hogoromos brother is the true antagonist to the series and that he is working with hogoromos older son who may or may not be possessing madara as ashura is possessing naruto. Although its logical that sasuke would be possessed by the older son. It makes more sense to me that its madara uchiha bills. madara could be partner to hogoromos brother or to both hogoromos brother and son which would make sense seeing as he has such knowledge of the past.

If the series really is ending this year, I doubt there's enough time to introduce an entirely new final villain with entirely new motivations and plans. Not with the Naruto vs. Sasuke battle that's sure to happen in the end as well.

Nice SIG and it would make sense as why else mention he had a brother not to mention ashura is possessing naruto, son that must mean indra is possessing someone else. However I agree with time being an issue another villain is unlikely though I now believe they we will see another

I definitely agree with you, my only issue is time. I mean, kishi can go on as long as he wants, it's not like his story has to end this year, so there's a possibility you're right.
