It goes against everything that was stated by the Sage of 6 paths him self. He said that his son was a failure and not that strong but then later in the very same chapter you see him fighting 1 v 1 vs his brother. There is clearly no one around them which means he was strong enough to fight him by himself. He may have started out weak but clearly he got massive amounts of power which was contradictory to his supposed weakness it was just that his power came later. How is it that he got all this power from friends yet when he is fighting it is just a 1 v1 battle? That is contradictory to the very statement itself.

Naruto being his reincarnation would mean he had to receive that power as well. If that is the case that Naruto is the reincarnation of Asurah or what ever it means he was destined that he would get great power and great things once again going against the narrative of what Asurah is suppose to be WEAK. The whole plot of Naruto was centered around the fact that Naruto was suppose to be a kid that never became anything great. He was suppose to be the bum on the street that people looked down on for the rest of his life out of fear of what he was, but this 100% goes against that. How can you be a failure yet get power that is rivaled that of a genius in the art of ninjustu?

So6P didn't say he got stronger just from his friends. He said "by suffering and training hard his chakra bloomed". So he worked hard to get to that power level.

I'm positive you're trolling now. Think about it, Ashura was not talented, but he got around it by hard work and earning the respect of friends and got stronger as the result of their cooperation, same as Naruto. There's not contradiction. Ashura couldn't do anything by himself at first, so he forged bonds and became strong because of it.

Sage said a few pages later that by suffering and training hard his chakra bloomed and was able to rival his older brother.

He could not but he could? How is this not a contradiction?

That was later on and the younger brother got stronger because he got help from other people. He aint gonna stay weak, he just needed help to get started.

Also it looks like the young brother had the kyuubi or something, similar to naruto/sasuke.

oh dear what did you get out of this chapter?

no..

ashura was weak.. as in he wasnt as talented.. he wasnt born with the gifts his brother had such as indra

the friendship he had with people made him strong.. this could mean he became strong by training rediculously hard in order to protect those he loved

the sage mentions later than his chakra blossoms.. meaning that after all his training he went through and bonds he created the fruits of his labour finally blossomed..

he became strong through the help of his friends as opposed to indra who supposedly did it all by himself without friends

Ashura is like Naruto. When Ashura fought Indra he had a ton of help like Naruto. I just hope Sasuke em don't get anymore free power ups. That'll really start to kill the manga for me, would Hard to believe Sasuke and Naruto are on the same level of Rikudo kids

So he was actually weak and helped by friends, but his fight with Indra was still seen as a 1 vs 1?

That's like saying, "A soldier did not know how to fight, but he learned how to fight. Now he knows how to fight. THAT'S A CONTRADICTION!" That's all your thread amounts to.

No no no, he progressively got stronger over time till the point where he could go one on one with Indra.

Okay here is simply how it works.

The elder son was good at stuff already. He was already strong. WITHOUT haveing to put effort into it.

The younger son was not talented. However through training and hard work, he managed to become about as strong as the elder son.

JUST like naruto. Naruto was fodder. But he trained and worked hard, and gained some really powerful techniques. He learned to use sage mode. Then through cooperation, he was able to get EVEN stronger.

There is absolutely nothing contradictiary if you read it right.

Uh no, the younger was talented-most morons don't understand that he inherited the sages body and lifeforce, so he had equal potential to that of this brother. THe difference was, he took longer to unlock his talent. It doesn't matter how hard you work-if you don't have the latent potential in the first place, you are not going to be great.

Your wrong. The Sage himself said that Ashura inherited ony a smal amount of his power, while Indra inherited the rest of it.

Almost all of the power Ashura needed to fight Indra was earned through hard work and bonding with others.

His battle with Indra was a 1v1. His friends and family just helped him grow to become strong enough to fight his brother.
