I think Sasuke can pull it off high diff. He can dodge and destroy the masks(Sasuke was able to dodge cloaked Bee). And if he can use Kirin its over

Sasuke isn't dodging 4 masks and Kakuzu. Kakashi was barely dodging the masks and Hidan and he's > hebi sasuke.
Kakuzu has water to beat Sasuke's fire, wind to beat Sasuke's lightning and everything else to tear him into nothing. Sasuke has to kill 5 hearts while Kakuzu has to kill Sasuke once. Sasuke can't use Kirin without lightning clouds. Plot was used for that moment to inply that Sasuke learned a new jutsu and realistically couldn't use it. Another good example of this type of plot is when Orochimaru tried to summon Minato against the third. It was obvious he couldn't do it and he knew it, but tried anyway.

Kakuzu wins. Kirin without thunderstorms is featless. Not to mention sasuke IC does not summon manda right away, and would have to put it into a genjutsu in order to make it follow it's commands.
