not disappointed at all i loved every aspect of this chapter from learning about the past to naruto's less serious side showing up again, knowing kishi he'll wait after next weeks chapter to show more of this to keep us reading

I don't even care about the Guy thing anymore. We saw what 8 Gates could do and that's 5 steps of Midnight Elephant. I don't think there is anymore to the 8 Gates plus Guy looked like he was about to croak.
The history lessons are way more interesting imo, the action really isn't that important in this phase of the story.

I'm glad we got something different though. This was fresh and awesome. Lots of people are saying this chapter gave a new breath of life into the story. Not the 8 Gates and Madara, but this chapter. The meeting of the Sage of the Six Paths and seeing Naruto come back.
And I agree! That was one of the best chapters of this whole series. I don't even care about Madara now. I want to hear more of the Sage's past and about his sons and brother and all the past of the Shinobi world. The only thing I'd like to see out of this maybe is what's going on with Sasuke.
