Jiraiya got more Panel time than Guy/Madara this chapter.

Guy's death won't have that dramatic feel anymore. Neji died and had flashbacks in the same chapter, but after Guy's flashback and opening of the 8th gate it switched to a humorous chapter with Naruto and the sage. It's almost as if his imminent death won't happen like we all expect it to, or when it does, it won't have any impact.

I wouldn't say disappointed but i also wondered about it.
This week I am totally okay with how kishi handled it, because of the very interesting information he gave us, but if he won't show anything from the "outside" I think the fight between gai and madara will lose much of its suspense which was built up the last chapter (gai's second technique in eight gate mode).
Also what's the current state in the battle against spiral zetsu?

Maybe kishi likes to concentrate on one issue at the time, since he hardly "fights on two fronts" :/
