I think the hyuga are actually very strong; it's simply that they don't get to show it. I mean, gentle fist has been confirmed to be able to destroy anything made of chakra, their eyes allow them to keep up with speeds as fast as 5th gate lee , and even detrxt incoming attacjs, alter an objects momentum with chakra, air palm is an Arial gentle fist, which can close down chakra points from afar, preventing nin,Gen, and taijutsu , heavenly spin has only ever been penetrated through by the juubi, and hiashi and Neji have shown that thir rotations are actually larger than a v2 susano'O, and then there's lion fists, which has no feats, but considering the hype it keeps getting, I'm sure it's just as deadly

Yup, just imagine how powerful and useful hinata could be if she was the main heroine. the hyuga have have unjustifiably ignored in the manga, they deserved a lot more

I hope he can make that up, even if it's just a little. He did a good showing the power of vacuum wall palm against the juubi's tail, or the defensive and offensive powerif kaiten.

I agree that uzumaki and hyuuga are from the sage's brother that's the only way I can see Senju and Uzumaki clans being relatives. Tsunade is part Uzumaki as well so she should be much more powerful than what we've witnessed thus far and it's a possibility that she is related to Naruto in some way.

I think it's kind if obvious. I mean, what other sort of plot relevance would introducing a never-before-mentioned brother out of the blue serve if not to explain the ties the uzumaki/hyuga have with the senju/uchiha.

I'd agree. While it is harder to infer for the Hyuga, it is highly probable for the Uzumaki.

Firstly, the Uzumaki and Senju are distant blood relatives. This description would normally suggest a relation along the lines of a cousin. Considering we now have Hagoromo's brother it is highly likely to have some Uzumaki connection.

As for the Hyuga, they've also been associated with the Uchiha. With their introduction, they were rumored to be the origin of the Sharingan. While it may not he the case (pending Kaguya), it does go to say that there is a hint of relation. Between the past connection. Kishi having said to expect Hyuga development, and things like the Hyuga flame appearing in the Uchiha sanctuary... It may reflect their relationship also stands as cousins to the Uchiha.
