Where did the chakra fruit and tree come from? I forgot if it was mentioned in a previous chapter (it certainly wasn't said in this one.)

Also why was the sages mom the only person to eat it? No one else knew about it? i mean Kaguya wasn't even a native to the land and she knew about it

I'm confused

Kaguya at the fruit from the Shinju, God Tree. The fruit was overflowing with power. She gained the power of Chakra. The tree itself has been there for as long as humanity can remember. No other details about it's creation or origins beyond the fact it's the 10 Tailed Beast.

Also why was the sages mom the only person to eat it? No one else knew about it? i mean Kaguya wasn't even a native to the land and she knew about it

No one else dared to eat the fruit from the fear instilled into them by their own worship of the tree. The first person to eat fruit from the tree was granted phenomenal power, but the 10 tails did go on a rampage, hence why The Sage had to step in and seal it inside himself. Eating the fruit was considered a sin and so it was forbidden, probably why Kaguya was the first to actually attempt to eat it. As to why no one else tried, they probably believed the tales about the tree bringing it's wrath down on any who tried to steal the fruit.

Hope this answers your questions.

Kinda like an Adam and Eve thing then, I see.

But even so how did the elders know about the fruits powers? It could've been just a normal fruit for all they know, unless someone else ate from it. And if someone else ate from it then that means chakra would have existed before Kayuga

Not many people want power bad enough to enrage a god- condeming their ancestors for hundreds and hundreds of years of bloodshed.

I'm more interested in how kaguya acutally obtained the fruit. -- was the God tree taking a nap or something? lol- the tree is larger than multiple mountains- in order to get to the fruit you have to climb alot- I don't see how kaguya could have got the fruit without the god trees consent.

Well ... Maybe it was a set up .. maybe someone purposefully told about it to the sage's mother so that she would ate it so that the ten tails may be revived and then they could become itz jinchuriki .. but the question is who did it ? maybe someone from the land(where the fruit was grown) told about it to her ... juxt a thought
