Hagoromo's brother could be the link to the Uzumaki!!

Hello this idea just occurred to me. So in this chapter we learned many things, most particularly of Hagoromo's unnamed brother.
Now I had seen theories a while ago by people like Sir Derp in which they stated that Kaguya was an Uzumaki or that Hagoromo had an unnamed offspring as an Uzumaki.

But I believe that the Uncle was the one to branch into the Uzumakis.
It would make sense as to why the Senju and Uzumaki are distantly related.
And then Ashura would later team up with the clan to face Indra and the Uchiha

It is also important to note that the Juubi was sealed via Jinchuuriki method.

This is where I feel the brother became unnamed in history:

• The Sage made it his goal to spread Ninshuu.
• The Brother made it his goal to pass down the sealing techniques (specifically Jinchuuriki).

Nice I just saw it; I didn't take into consideration of the Hyuuga's origins but that would mean give the possibility of the Byakugan being awakened by the Older Brother and Rinnegan by Hagoromo.

I did see a logical basis for believing that maybe the sage was an Uzumaki (I was always on the fence about it though, since there were some established points against it). However, I now believe it's very likely that the Uzumaki's, and maybe even the Hyuuga's descended from the other brother. So, I agree with this.

I guess in the end, Kishi's the writer. I did see only a few suspect that maybe Hagoromo had a brother, but no one had no way of knowing that half of the Juubi was sealed into him since Kishi simply withheld that info, and even made us believe that he sealed it all within himself.

Naruto even turned out to be the reincarnation of Ashura rather than Hagoromo as many suspected.


lol just think about it, if Hagoromo brother decided to do the same as Hagoromo did before he died, we'd have 18 bijuu and 2 moons. Maybe a crescent moon?

Indeed lol. I am curious to what happened to the other Juubi half, as Hagoromo only split his own Juubi and not the one in his brother.

That's definitely a mystery. When the host dies, it's suppose to be released/resurrected. If the other brother founded the Uzumaki (as I said, seems pretty likely at this point), then perhaps he made a special seal for it? My friend, Genrou, suspected that maybe it's sealed within the Hannya Demoness, though I'm not sure why it wouldn't be released when the four Hokage was released along with Oro's arms.

Unless Kishi created a huge plothole, it definitely has to be sealed somewhere lol.

That second reference you included from the manga that stated the sealing process was devised by the sage, not the brother. The image right there depicts it as well: his staff is his, not his brother's. It is also a ninjutsu, and the brother did not create ninjutsu.

Nice read. I agree with the Uzumaki part 100%. In fact I called that Kaguya had a second child weeks ago simply because I fealt that the Uzumaki clan had an important lineage that traced back to Kaguya.

However. I think that this story needs a villain and since they did not say his name I strongly believe that Hagoromo brother is that villain and has a bomb drop name, check out my theory here:

This is very possible, but I feel the Uncle may not be the villain if the Manga is to end this year. But it is very possible!

It's not incest. It was already known that they were distantly related. Probably 8th-18th cousins once or twice removed. That is not close to nicest. So many generations passed that ll this was completely forgotten and thought to be legend.
