After I had read today's chapter, I sat there pondering how The Sage and Uzumakis could be related to one another, as many popular theories suggest. The link between the two is undeniable; Kaguyu is clearly the Reaper from the Reaper Death Seal, the popular horns among the Uzumaki are shared by The Sage and Kin, and they seem to know all of the Sage's sealing techniques. This would almost lead one to think they are related.

But then it occured to me:

The Sage was thought to be nothing less than a god, and as a priestly people, what if the Uzumaki simply worshipped him and his mother as such?

This explains any and all connections away.

Reaper Death Seal? In an attempt to reach the godly figure they worship, they created a technique that allows one to connect with one of them, specifically Kaguyu.

Why the horns, then? Simply enough, they want to take on the appearance of the god they worship, according to depictions.

His techniques of sealing and such that they know? Years of dedicated research to The Sage more than likely unveiled a few of his techniques, no doubt powerful and no doubt enough to make a clan feared by others.

To me, this makes more sense than the "Sage is Uzumaki" theory itself. This is hammered home by the fact that the Uzumaki are a priestly people, and what's the point of being priestly unless you have a god/diety of some sort to worship? You heard it here first, folks; The Sage is/was not Uzumaki, rather the Uzumaki worshipped him and attempted to impersonate/emulate him.

They are still descendants of someone and it all leads back to those they worshiped if this is correct. So in a way, they technically are related.

I agree, and most likely they were the people who praised the Shinju tree as a host of god

They have to trace their lineage back to Kaguya in order to have chakra at this point in the story. So they are related, most likely the descendants of Hagoromo's brother. I also think that he could have given chakra to others, like the Uzumaki clan has shown the ability to do, but that is not proven yet. as of right now all ninja that have been born with chakra supposedly trace back to grandma Kaguya (even though it seems impossible).

Completely wrong, it has been proven that chakra can and has been given to other people. That's what The Sage did.

When? You mean like Karin/uzumaki sharing? They have only done that with other chakra users. There is nothing in the story about normal people being granted chakra as of right now. if there is pull the page, and show me please.

My whole point is that it would be possible for an Uzumaki ancsetor to do that, because that is their specialty. Uzumaki are the only ones that have shown any chakra sharing ability with other ninja, so it stands to reason they would be able to do it for non-ninja if strong enough. Read my theory please so you see what I mean:

I do believe there are ninja not traced back to Kaguya BECAUSE of the Uzumaki, but I don't see any way possible for the Uzumaki not to trace directly back to the source. They have the highest chakra and sealing power of any clan. Far too powerful.

Unless you believe every living person descended from The Sage (which is retarded), they were given chakra.

Ninshuu is the act of transferring one's chakra to another and sharing it. This is what The Sage did.

There are still plenty of people in the world without the ability to use chakra. They live in the normal towns and villages, instead of the hidden villages. they were the ones that hired the ninja etc. Ninshuu could very well be the art of sharing chakra, which would explain how it spread, but I don't think that is clear or obvious at this point. I also don't think there is anyway the Uzumaki clan doesn't trace directly back to Kaguya.

Wrong again.

Everyone has chakra. Everyone. If they didn't, Infinite Tsukuyomi would be useless.

Why can't people just accept that the Uzumaki was just once apart of the Senju clan but broke off into their own clan over time? Naruto has Senju lineage which is why he shares the same attributes that the Senju linage gives off when it comes to power(massive chakara reserves and life force). People keep focusing on the red hair and allowing it to throw them off but never questions Tobirama's white hair... The Uzumaki's were just a branch of the Senju clan. Its just being proven over and over. Tobi was right when he told Naruto that he was from the Senju lineage and that he was the reincarnation of the younger son and that Sasuke was the reincarnation of the older son just as Hashirama and Madara were before them. Sasuke and Naruto are descendants of the Younger and Elder son and they have been destined because of this.

Well, the Senjus and Uzumakis were said to be distant blood relatives:

And it appears to me that Hashirama and Mito's marriage was the first instance of a Senju and Uzumaki intermarrying, like a political marriage to strengthen a newly formed alliance between two clans/kingdoms, like Ferdinand II of Aragon and Isabella I of Castile that lead to the unification of the two kingdoms as modern day Spain)

So it means the Senju and Uzumaki's distant blood relationship (consanguinity) was established even before an intermarriage between a Senju (Hashirama) and Uzumaki (Mito) occur.

And it says that the Younger Brother's descendants were said to be the Senjus only, not Senjus and Uzumakis:

And it says there: "Even as time passed and the bloodline faded, the brother's descendants continued fighting" and as we've seen with the Hashirama flashback, the Uzumakis were completely absent from the Uchiha vs Senju fighting.

And since the Shinigami (Female Hannya Demon) is most probably Kaguya:

And the Shiki Fuujin was developed/created by the Uzumaki Clan:

So it leads to two possible scenarios:

a.) Princess Kaguya Ohtsutsuki and her people were the Pre-Ninjutsu Uzumaki Clan

or

b.) It is Rikudou's brother who was the first Uzumaki aka founder of the Uzumaki Clan and bloodline.

I like the title : "new connection=no relation".
I obviously understood what you meant but I found that funny.

This is very possible, and I believe Kin and Gin also wore headdresses resembling Kaguya.
I think that the Sage's brother might be an Uzumaki (my theory: )
