1st.) Ashura got "as powerful as his brother" through hard work and training...not borrowing power from shinobi or tailed beasts...

2nd.) he got powerful before the jubbi was separated....so no tailed beasts

3rd.) it is said that Ashura needed ''cooperation'' from others in order to become as strong as his bro....Cooperation could mean anything....like kakashi's cooperation in helping naruto learn RASEN SHRUNKEN... or his cooperation with sausage in learning chidori....

4th.) a Sharingan user doesnt need this ''cooperation'' in order to learn new tech.....he just needs to see it.....ONCE.... the sharingan also gives the user the ability to predict movements and execute appropriate counters to....its like being the only person in class, allowed to use calculator for the math test....and not to mention it came from the jubbi.....so it is in fact borrowed...
