[Theory] The second son of Kaguya: why is he unknown?

As we have discovered today, the Juubi had been divided in 2 halfs just like Kyuubi.

Also we've found out that Hagoromo had a brother.

2 questions have rised:

1) Where is the Juubi's other half?

2) Why nobody knows about Hagoromo's brother, praising SO6P for defeating Juubi?

I've been thinking, and I've come up with the following answer:

What if Hagoromo's brother had used the Death Reaper Seal in order to banish the second half of Juubi, so Hagoromo could actually seal another half into himself? That would answer why nobody knows about him, and about another half of Juubi too.

I think Hagoromo actually got the other half later on. Maybe.

It might just be due to time erasing his existence. Or perhaps he died during that battle. Or maybe, unlike hagoromo, he didn't go around oreaching about peace, since hagoromo's teachings are what made him remembered

Yep, that's some possibilities too. But still, he seemed to be pretty powerful when he fought Juubi along with Hagoromo, so I think it would be logical if people at least remembered the fact of his existance...

But Death Reaper is Sage's Mom. Unless she BECAME THE DEATH REAPER, but taught the sage and his brother that Jutsu to use if they're having a hard time fighting the Juubi before she became the Shinigami....

Well, we don't actually know if that were all the sould or just those that he wanted to use. It is also possible that if the shinigami is actually Kaguya, that she holds the half of Juubi as an energy source to exist in this form

yeah i too had the same question that what happened to the brother of So6p Hagoromo and the chapter didnt explain wheather they both sealed the jubi inside both of them or it is just been sealed inside Hagoromo by his brother but what happened to him? and as shown indra posses sharingan so he uses the susano and how did his son ashura got the tailed beast power? still there r lotz of fillers in this week manga and also posses mystry

It's possible, and interesting.

That would mean that the Hermit split up half of the Juubi into the 9 tailed beasts.

It would make sense that the other half of the Juubi remained in Juubi-like form within the reaper, but it also means that Kurama and the other tailed beasts are only half as powerful as they would have been if the whole Juubi was split into the beasts.

Also, that would mean Naruto has only technically had 1/4th of Kurama inside him and that Minato only sealed 1/4th away with him.

However, I find it odd that the portion of Kurama that Minato took with him into the reaper didn't combine with the half-Juubi residing inside. Also, if there were a half-Juubi in the reaper we probably would have heard something from the Hokage that were stuck inside with it. It's reasonable to think at least Hashirama noticed it...it seems like it be pretty cramped in there anyway

Well, we don't really know what's going on inside of the Reaper, if I recall correctly we don't even know if the sealed souls have any consciousness because when they were revived, thay had no knowledge about each other (remember Hashirama asked who the fuk is Minato). And technicly Kyuubi was first sealed inside Minato, so he could prevent it from being absorbed by Juubi
