So the sage tells naruto he had a brother, and they BOTH fought the 10 tails and sealed it inside of THEM.,,,


Why introduce this brother if they aren't doing anything with him? It's been long thought the sage solo'd the 10 tails.



This makes me think that isn't the end of information about his brother.

Any thoughts? Or was it just randomly added.

i hope it isn't random. maybe his brother ended up corrupted, or more demon than human. idk, it really was pointless to mention.

because the Sage spilt only the juubi inside of him that means the bjuus are only half of the juubi

His brother reincarnated into the madara you see now. Do u not see the resemblance. Madara has long white hair and the same staff. Are haragomo brother.

I doubt this is the last we are going to see or hear about his brother, it's just way too relevant to the story for it to be nothing. Especially if they BOTH battled the juubi. We'll probably see more about it once they continue on with the next successor in the next chapter.

Who knows, really? My guess is that he's related to the Shinigami somehow. Kaguya heavily resembles the Shinigami, and given that the Sage's brother has long hair/horns, it's possible they are related. It'd explain why there aren't two parts of the Ten-Tails running around. One half became the Tailed Beasts, while the other is still sealed inside the Sage's brother as the Shinigami. Of course, I'm probably wrong and Kishi will come out of left field with something totally unexpected.

No one sees the potential Madara only has half the Jubi. Only the half that the sage sealed within himself. His brother must have sealed the other half in another place. Naruto will get the other half.

Well Sage having brother opens possibility of him being Jashin by being corrupted by Ten tails power given to Him by Kagyua through birth. It looks like Sage was indeed special to withstand and use this power for Good.

Unless Hagoromo's brother became a bad guy, I think he would've mentioned him on the Uchiha Tablet. If eventually Madara did read all of the tablet (his ghost visited the shrine and read the remaining tablet), I don't think even Madara, the shinobi who knows so much on the Uchiha and Senju past, is aware Hagoromo had a brother.

It's also nice to know Naruto being Ashura's reincarnation is something that even Madara is likely unaware of.
