I actually quite liked team Dosu, it was interesting how Kishi decided to do a backstory for Zaku. And oh gawd that Choji vs Dosu fight. I'm glad they were killed off though, Dosu getting wrecked by Gaara was cool, and they were edo sacrifices for two legendary hokages, which is the best death fodders like them could hope for.

LOL people think they'd be Akatuski level nah. If they were that good they would have been the Sound 4/Oro. bodyguards and the other guys(Kiminaro, Tayua, Kidomaru, Sakon/Ukon) would have been scarificed for edo tensei. They would still be fodder, Kishi only bring guys like team dosu for temporary amount of time. They'd be Jonin level or Shippuden K11 level.

dosu attacking gaara straight was bullshit, he was too smart to do something like that, it was totally out of character, kishi wanted to get rid of him, real shame since he was one of the most interesting and believable characters in the manga, he gave that kakashi impression, if you get what i mean

Dosu and Zaku were already stronger than most R9 members and Kin was probably stronger than any genin kunoichi from konoha.
