My phone is messing up. Anyway @hidden sound to him it was all about danzo. Him achieving power at all costa. If his fellow villagers got killed on his rise to power then oh well. Most id the time its villains who willingñy sacrifice others to attain power . He definetly siente have the will of fire

Danzo had the exact opposite of the Will of Fire.

The Will of Danzō.

Yeah, it doesn't really have a name. Danzo was portrayed as the polar opposite of Hiruzen, therefore their idealism must be opposite as well.

Just my two cents. u.u

Danzo had the will of fire as nd truly cared about the village
which is why he is a monstrous murderous psychopath who brainwashes kids, manipulates everyone to suit his own ends, tried to overthrow hiruzen and succeeded in almost allowing tsunade and thousands of innocents to die for his coup attempt
That was all filler. Non-canon. And during Orochimaru's invasion, Kishi hadn't even introduced Danzō.
tobi said danzo worked with oro to get his mokuton
Treason. That's one way of looking at it. Another way is that Danzō was looking to the future of Konoha. He knew Konoha wouldn't be destroyed, and Tsunade needed to be replaced with a strong leader.
so overthrowing the legit government is justified if your replacing it with a militaristic dictatorship?
He did eliminate threats to the village, but let other threats continue, such as Pain. However, he did that for the future of Konoha. To remove a weak leader and become the Hokage himself, which he believed would help Konoha. In that way, he is a real ninja.
he allowed pain to destroy konoha, simple as that. he had no evidence nagato would suddenly turn good
most leaf ninja would die to protect the village.
the village is corrupt

I agree. The thing that's worse is that people justify danzo because he did it "for the village" and the will of fire, when those philosophies are corrupt as shit....

Will of Fire? No. But i do think Danzo inherited Tobirama's will. Seeing how Danzo marginalized the Uchiha and ordered their execution. Even subverting Hiruzen's efforts for a diplomatic solution.

He just didn't trust anyone past, present, or future. To have the will of fire you must be willing to learn from the past and to raise the youth to be the future. He basically suffered from what he viewed the Uchiha as ironically.

to protect the village by any means

Fair.

I view it more as entrusting your comrades with the will of yourself and the village, like Tobirama showed before his death. Sort of like the Fire (Will) of the village keeps burning through future generations.

I think Danzo lost the Will of Fire because he was willing to protect the village through sacrificing his comrades and anyone else he needed to as pawns, essentially losing meaning to comradeship to him.

Danzo had the will of power. He wanted the best of the village and that was to be a powerful war village. Instead of the happy little people with the will of fire playing ninja

danzo is a brutal psychopath whom if he had his way, would brainwash the whole population ot be mindlessly emotionless and loyal to bim, while throwing them away as "sacrifices"

to protect the village by any means, also eliminating any kind of threats to the village
disqualifies danzo then, who abandoned it to certain destruction to take power among the ashes
