If Pain attacked the leaf when Minato was the Hokage instead of Tsunade?

Minato makes easy work of Pain. What can Pain even do to Minato, honestly? He can't touch him. And Minato can send CT somewhere else. Shinra Tensei would be his best bet, however I don't think that would have much effect on Minato.

But it would destroy the Village, and his job is to protect the Village not to survive

Minato can at least teleport everyone to a safer place, but he might use a lot of chakra to do that, HOWEVER it is still better for the people to get away from Pain's attack because if they got hurt then I don't think they can survive so by taking them out of the village makes them easier to survive rather than Tsunade's strategies and Katsuya.
AND the question is, what can Minato do after sending a lot of people away from the village to a safe place when he used his chakra? I believe someone as Minato can still fight against Pain, but with Kushina and Kakashi there then I think they might take this chance against all of them, including when Guy is there.

Remember about this latest chapter? Minato, Kakashi, Lee, Gaara and Guy combo team was able to damage Madara.

This is my question, but would he cause the village more TROUBLE than what Tsunade did?

However, I believe his powers can actually teleport all the people near his kunai spreading around to a SAFER place so he can fight properly with Kakashi and Guy and with the others.

Minato can't teleport all the villagers with the chakra reserves he has. He needs to do the exact same thing Naruto did to the alliance to be able to teleport so many people outside of Konoha.
Also, take into account that Pain's attack was instant and nobody expected it. Nagato didn't go all out, because he was searching for Kyuubi's Jinchuuriki, but in that case with Kushina being easy to spot, Nagato wouldn't have held back and might have launched Chibaku Tensei right above the village, which I believe Minato and others wouldn't have been able to counter.

I think Minato would build up a good match with Rikudo Pain , and of course , he'd win . I'm going to say that if Minato was in Tsunade's place , the bigass shinra tensei wouldn't happen .

Things would have gotten worse.

Majority if not ALL of Konoha's population will die.

Katsuyu was the only thing that kept most of the populace alive during the invasion before Naruto's delayed arrival courtesy of Danzo sabotaging the communications system of Konoha and Mt Myoboku.

Without the giant slug, Minato and Kushina may have defeated the 6 Paths but everyone else would be dead and Nagato won't resurrect them because only Naruto can perform the TNJ.

First of all, great thread.

Minato's attack speed would allow him to rape all the pains before they have a chance to try their super shinra tensei that leveled the village.

Minato's summonings take care of a lot of the work and ftg or even base speed allows Minato to get past the deadly "5 second interval" that comes with fighting Pain.

Minato's analytic abilities and sensing would make the other Pains almost irrelevant.

Overall, Minato would have done 1000x better job protecting the village than Tsunade managed to do.

Bm Minato is weaker than Minato, bm is a byproduct of the Edo Tensi jutsu. Tsunade is the better hokage for that situation.

Minato and kakashi would have picked the pain one by one. He would not have gotten a chance to use cst. And if gai is in the village lol this would end quick
