seriously? i havent exactly seen this wanking you are speaking of. minato gets tons more hate than he does love so i fail to see where you're coming from. this base is filled to the brim with uchiha wankers (dont caree what you say they are miles worse than minato fans) and so minato becomes their main target. they see him as some sort of threat or something.

and they too are extremely intelligent. minato has already been dubbed a genius in this manga a number of times, his feats back it up and so did this plan.

I'm not a big fan but I thought his quick thinking was very impressive in such a dire situation. He kept his cool, even comforted Lee and then set his plan into action. It showed he was a good sensei and Hokage.

Finding out the range and the fact that complete contact means"erased" but partial contact means"you'll be ok" was very impressive.

Planning wise he's support so you can only expect so much. Especially since his plan was to insure guy lands hits.

His original plan was for kakashi to kamui the orbiting balls. Given his knowledge on their range.
Then he had to modify it for kakashi's now apparent lack of range with kamui.
So he told garra to bring kakashi closer in which he had to modify it again since garra's sand its slower than kakashi's kamui and the black balls.
So he said he'll act as defence against the balls since his team can't out maneuver them.
Since Lee can move faster than garra's sand he was in a better position to back guy up.
You're low balling minato.
