Why Jiraiya did not shown in Kakashi?

Hmm, what I remember, there was an episode where Jiraiya chases Orochimaru after Hiruzen discovered Orochimaru's Lab? And then why he didn't show up in Anbu Kakashi Arc?

Also, there was an episode where Orochimaru watches teenage Itachi training. In the incoming Anbu Itachi arc, Orochimaru already left the village and Itachi was 10-13 yrs old

Has to be after, I remember the Filler where he got injury by Hurizen, who after discovered his Lab, placed a hidden paper explosive in one of Orochimaru's snake. Orochimaru surived, only to retreat to recover his wounds. Orochimaru needed the smoke girl body to heal his injuries. I forgot the clan name, but anyway. Orochimaru ran into Kakashi and Yamato, who was ordered to capture him, but Orochimaru manage to get away.

In this episode, Oro still a Konoha shinobi and Itachi is around 13-15 yrs old. But in the next episode, Itachi looks like a 15 yrs old kid.

You underestimate how young Itachi is

Itachi was a teenager when he returned to the village as an akatsuki

He graduated the academy at age 7 and mastered the sharingan by the age of 8 Passed the Chunins at 10 and joined them, the anbu, the same year

Made Anbu Squad Leader by 13

Looking at the Timeline in consideration, even if this is filler it ties in that Orochimaru could have easily seen an academy Itachi practicing his exceptional skills and using the sharingan at the age of 7/8, because that still leaves around 4/3 years before he is even in Anbu
