People don't understand how great differences in speed are since Pain Arc

Most people don't realize the huge speed differences between Pain Arc characters and current Arc characters.

Let me explain.

There are certain speed levels. Two characters may be in a same speed level and still one character can be quite faster. Difference in one level means a great advantage for a certain character. In such situations, the slower one usually needs special techniques or tactics to win. Two levels of speed difference almost guarantee that the faster one will win.

Now I will write the speed levels.

-Ordinary human level (These are civilians and other people who don't train)
-Academy level (These are already well trained people)
-Low Genin level (These are already incredibly fast, for example Naruto and Sasuke at the beginning of the story)
-Genin level (For example, Naruto and Sasuke when they face Haku)
-Elite Genin level (Rock Lee during his fight with Sasuke)
-Low Chunin level (Rock Lee without his weights)
-Chunin level (Neji when he fought Kidomaru)
-Elite Chunin level (Sakura when she fought Sasori)
-Low Jonin level (Naruto after he returned to Konoha)
-Jonin level (Hidan)
-Elite Jonin level (Sasuke when he fought Deidara)
-Kage level (Most Kage reach this level of speed, Kage summit Sasuke)
-Fast Kage level (Sage mode Naruto during Pain Arc)
-Super fast Kage level (Ay with his full speed)
-Beyond Kage level (Bijuu mode Naruto, Hashirama, Madara without Sage mode)
-The speed legend level (Minato, Tobirama, Bijuu Sage mode Naruto)
-Juubi level (Obito as a Juubi Jinchuriki)
-The Legend level (Madara as a Juubi Jinchuriki, 8 Gates Guy)

What do you think? Do you agree?

Your opinion is welcome.

I kinda agree, though the lower levels are too stretched out one chunuin speed level covers 'em all.

the problem with judging speed is that we are looking at still pictures :| its hard to judge.. difference.. we have to relie by looking at the terrain and other small hints and by what is said..

it also makes it hard to compare any speed improvements.. naruto's were obvious since they were pointed out to us

Da fuq.... Facts. Speed feats are only facts stated in the Manga and not because you seen it.

When he attacked Hashirama he didn't yet have Sage mode. That is when he has shown far greater speed than Sage mode Naruto.
Oh you're talking about this

This was fast but not even close to Ay's speed, and he took some time to compress chakra in his foot so that he could run that fast

Yes, that was what I meant. But did you see what he did to Sage mode Naruto and Sai before reaching Hashirama? I don't think Ay could do that. And keep in mind Madara was blind.

Speed = distance/time

Determining speed of characters is nigh impossible--- Haku with mirrors seemed nearly instantaneous to me at the time when I read it.... The truth is, unless kishi specifically states a distance, and a time frame we just don't know the speed levels.

Lastly--- shunshin speed ( speed enhanced by technique) -- foot speed ( short and long distance ) /- reaction speed

These forms of " speed" are often not clarified leaving readers to guess. When Sasuke blitzed naruto and co- was that foot speed or shunshin? Who knows.....
