As we know what Amaterasu(Ama) is and what it's rules are. We know it ignites any and everything in the users sight. Throughout the manga that rule has been consistent,

How is he able to make a circle with objects and Itachi in his line of sight?

Is this just another inconsistency in the manga, or can amaterasu form behind objects even if something is blocking there view to a certain extent, or is there a logical explanation?

For everyone saying he used enton listen. Ento moves the flames, it does not make them spread. He also has to see where he is moving them to.

This page proves he moves the flames and does not spead them when using Kage/enton.

Even enton can't place amaterasu behind spikes and Itachi without seeing it first. He would have to see the spot behind Itachi and then Guide the amaterasu there. Also he spun around pretty fast so I doubt he used enton to do that . he most likely just used Ama and consistently shot it out until he made a circle.

He spun around and shot amaterasu out his eye. It didn't just erect all at the same time.

No, I believe he has the best control. But there are rules and he wouldn't be able to place amaterasu behind somebody due to this rule. Amaterasu ignites on everything in the users line of sight

Just because he didn't want to hit somebody does not explain the scan up there.

When he uses kagetsuchi(Kage) he moves the flames, the flames do not spread.

Even if we can't see the side of the page just look at all the spikes with the circle and you'll see flames behind them.

There's one spike that is pointing at Sasuke's feet that has Amaterasu behind it.

Wow, I actually didn't notice this before yeah, Sasuke clearly does a 360 while having Amaterasu activated.

But yeah, Sasuke can ignite Amaterasu behind objects or people as well. All he'd have to do is focus on another point behind Itachi rather than Itachi himself.

How is that scan broken? It's common sense he probably use enton manipulation to make the amaterasu go around them in a circle formation to protect them against kabuto...
