And it ruined his scythe's chain. So clearly he's not going to be able to do it more than once like that. When Neji fought the spiders Kido showed he can attack with traps from all angles. Hidan can't dodge paper bombs from all sides at the same time.

Why can't the scythe itself tank them :| Not to mention hidan may be able to tank them itself, as it wasn't the bombs that blew him up it was the wire that compressed after the explosions U_U

And honestly Kido has no way of putting him down, arrows are not going to cut it, not are his throwing projectiles and he can evade webbing U_U He clearly has great attack speed if someone with the Sharingan couldn't even find an opening in his attacks

To do the reversal you need eye contact.

So let me get this straight, 'AKATSUKI WIN BECAUSE THEY'RE THE AKATSUKI' A bad matchup is a bad matchup. This isn't all of the Akatsuki at once these are 1v1s if you read the thread and Hidan cannot get Kidomaru's blood or hit him, Kidomaru can form makeshift weapons (not just arrows) try a blade cutting his head off, huge inescapable Spider Summonings (which would butcher Hidan as he's not as fast as Neji was) and several webs meaning Hidan will lose eventually whilst Kidomaru can fight indefinitely.

He can still get defeated. Having his head cut off (which happened in 2/3 of his shown fights) without his babysitter Kakazu around to patch him back together means than Kidomaru wins the match. If Hidan runs (his only option) then he forfeits the match and loses.
