Madara is gonna die (again) that is pure fact. There's just no way he'll continue to live after the war is officially over. He's a relic of the past just like the hokages and should act as such. Its clear the hokages' souls will return to the after life, so Madara will return with them.

but the thing is, almost every villain aside from immortals like hidan or kakuzu go out on good terms. Even someone like deidara or sasori could be said to have died on good terms (but this doesn't necessarily mean being a good guy)

Madara could go out a lot of ways. He could be defeated and convinced he's wrong while dying. He could be convinced he's wrong and continue fighting anyways. He could stick to his ideals and die a bitter death. His death could be a sacrifice to bring back the dead (which I don't want btw).

But my concern is in how his feelings will be protrayed when he dies.

I believe Madara will have a change of heart. The way his character has been written simply makes it seem illogical for him to have a pointless death, dying bitter and defeated. His character would be pointless and unfinished, and I simply can't think of a way for Kishi to complete him with Madara's current mindset. He's bound to have a change of heart for the better, but this doesn't have to mean he becomes a good guy.

But if Madara has a change heart, I'm gonna enjoy the hell out of it.

Seriously, madara,obito, and Nagato aren't even characters to most people here. they're nothing but over powered fighting machines to them.
