Possible but I somehow doubt that Madara would play around after this display. In which case we should see some real feats from Madara next chapter or when ever we go back to this fight. If he doesn't use Ninjutsu after this point I have to say something is fishy...

the fact that gai is punching madara through the black orbs should hint at its power. Why some people on the base aren't taking the hint and saying sm madara > rikoudu madara is beyond me. DONT SLEEP ON THE 8 GATES

He can't use it its been said countless times that in order to use sussanoo you need both eyes. Madara has one. Its the same reason why Kakashi can't use it

It's weird that he didn't use susanoo. Sure, he was using the black orbs, but there is no harm in using BOTH of them at the same time! Madara's actions don't match his words. He said he wanted to avoid the hits, yet while he was underground, he didn't even thing about using some sort of diversion like a wood clone or something(I am sure he could still make them..)

FUrthermore, using Susanoo AND the black orbs at the same time would have severely reduced the damage, and on top of that he would have been able to counterattack better(as the range of his PS Shockwaves are immense and it susanoo can attack even while it's being destroyed, as evidenced against hashirama) So yes, he's definitely not going all out.(But what guy did was impressive nevertheless...)

its not only susanoo madara didnt use ant kind of attack still other than sending those orbs.we will find out answer in next chapter

Susanoo was also broken a few times by weaker attacks if I remember correctly...

The only reason why Madara doens't use other abilities is that theoretically the orbs cover all of those abilities.

- Greater defense/absorb attacks (Susanoo and Rinnegan Preta Path)
- Elements (Fire/Lighting/wind destructive power, water malleability, earth hardness)
- Destructive power on touch
- Seal properties (against ET)

For the same reason Obito didn't use any of his own attacks when he became Juubi's jin. It seems that by doing that, you have access only to Juubi's powers so you can't use your own any more.

This is why madara never used susano'o.

Madara has no consciousness therefore he cannot make decisions. People take the manga as if they had some kind of decisions in there actions. kishi controls what happens. It's all part of the story line. Why didn't Madara summon 5 meteors when he was an edo instead of 2? Why didn't he just spam meteors with his infinite amount of chakra?

A lot of people seem to forget that this is his first time being a 10 Tailed Jinchuuriki. He is learning the limits of his newly attained power so that he doesn't make the same mistake twice. At least that is how I see it.
