my bad i had to reply to the others that share like mines with u....



first off, i have to go to the MCPA headquarters and meet up with the teamof tower climbers and civil crew, we will either talk to Vivek or Hamish for the actual job intel, they will tell us where to go and what to do, also what company's tower we are doing work on which would either be sprint or t-mobile or verizon (verizon is the best), once we get that informatio they will either fly us out or give us the company trucks or rent us cars, all works fine when traveling to another state, once we reach that state we will all meet up at this specific hotel Extended Stay, it is the only hotel my company stays at, once we do that we stay in or do whatever most people like to go explore the city bu the next morning the teams break up civil and tower and we go gather the tools we will need, e go to the sites , and the tower side gathers their harnests and gear because and remember to be safe because some of those towers go from 100ft to 2000ft in the air and the mono towers are the scariest to climb because they are single pole and the higher up the flimsier they are adn they do rock back and forth so...


once we make it to the top we have about 3-4 guys or maybe less depending on whats needed on the platform at the top, but once we make it up we most likely install antennas or fix ground cables to connect all the way back down to the bottom where the civil crew is hooking up the BBS and the RBS cabinets which the battery cabinet is nothing more than power, u have to take out all the rakcs and put in the batteries which weigh about 50lbs each and once u finish a row of 4 u connect them together via ground wire and air tubes to allow current to flow to each of them also make sure the power switch is removed because if u touch metal to metal the batteries could explode and u could get your hand melted to the battery cabinet but that pretty much it for the BBS and the RBS is the connection cabinet, where u control the power from bbs to the tower, there are a bunch of fiberglass wires that need to be place in the right location and ordered and labeled, i dnt knw much about RBS because i went from BBS to tower but thats pretty much it, but before u leave u have to make sure to take pictures of everything so the cell phone companies wont ***** when there CM's get there and something is wrong but wasnt our doing....

i shortened it up for u all but i tried my best to put u through the average day...sometimes we do nothing but we still get paid btw Tower climbers makes 16 an hour + any amount of overtime doubled and guaranteed 40 hrs at least and we get paid every week and we get an additional per diem of 700 dollars are week so i usually make at least 1500 a week or more and i have traveled from Texas to Oklahoma, Kansas,Florida, Pennsylvania,California,Illinois,Indiana,Tennessee,and Kentucky and i have only been working for them since late October...#MyLifeIsGreat
