I think you're underestimating Yamamoto, he is way above Gokudera. Also, why are Fon, enma, and Iemitsu nowhere on that list?

You also need to take into account that Byakuran in the current generation isn't as strong as he was 10 years in the future.

That said, I really disliked the direction the manga headed into after the future arc. The fact that after all the trouble they went through and having restored the original form of their rings, the simon family was easily able to overwhelm them simply with a bottle of blood and their rings. In addition to that, I hated that Gokudera started to seem usuless during (and after) the choice battle especially after his awesome fight with Gamma.

What do you mean by ring conflict? How far caught up are you?

If you reached the latter arc of the future arc/saga, the one after Yamamoto vs Genkishi, you would absolutely know that from then on, Yamamoto solos Gokudera mid-difficulty. Gokudera is one of my top 3 favorite characters in REBORN, but the mangaka ruined him after Gamma's fight IMO.

I'm an I the future arc and Yamaoto vs Genkshi was a good fight Yama soled him lo-med dif. I don't see how Yamaoto beats him that easily.​
