I mean, facing 100 angry 8th gate Gai's doesn't seem like a very easy challenge to get passed, considering he could pull a Hiruzen and have his clones use the life extinguishing technique (Gate of Death; Reaper Death Seal) without any damage done to himself, at least not fatal.

OR

Could a Shadow Clone using Gate O' Death kill Gai once it was taken out, since technically you're exhausting yourself to death...haha I'm thinking way to into this, thoughts?

I don't completely agree with your list but, c'mon, no one could survive against multiple 8th Gate Gai's, if he's able to break through the Black chakra using Madara's body with one punch, I don't see ANYONE winning. With a guaranteed win in CQC and ranged air cannon, it's kinda not fair XD

They all use Bunshin which can be used to take a hit from Gai until he is out of the gate.

Shadow clones are nothing more but chakra to open the 8 gate you need a heart and blood
