Definitely top 5, up there with Kakashi, Itachi and Tobirama (although possessing the sharingan does make analysing a whole lot easier).
- analysing Obitos kamui and creating a counter to it within seconds (despite having an inferior s/t jutsu). Something that took the efforts of Kakashi, Naruto, Gai and Killer Bee various chapters/episodes to do.
- seeing kakashis new chidori and labelling it and imperfect jutsu after seeing it just once, even explaining its drawbacks and flaws after only momentarily seeing it in action.
- determine that his son is the child of prophecy and then sealing half of Kurama within him, believing he'd learn to use that power to defeat the masked man and protect the world against his threat. That's some serious future planning right there

even constructing Narutos seal in a way that allows for some chakra to leak out to mix with Narutos, and then taking the necessary precautions in case Naruto even lost control and removed the seal. Minato definitely thought this through well.
- and then we have last chapters awesome feat, determines the weakness of the black orbs (determines it's ranges cut off point) and how to counter them without getting hurt, then devises the strategy of how to attack Madara.
I've always thought of Kakashi to be the best analyst but Minato may possibly outshine him in this department.
