Since there's no explanation as to why Madara isn't using Susano'o or other Rinnegan techniques, I'm just going to assume Gai is too fast for Madara to activate them.

One could also assume the black orb shield is superior to Susano'o, which is why Madara opted to use it. Gai also happened to break that.

I don't see how Madara keeps up with his speed nor do I see how Madara withstands Gai's attacks.

3- The thousand punches of Shinju senju never actually reached Perfect Susanoo since most of them were destroyed by the continuous Bijuudamas. Only the remaining punches actually hit Madara's Perfect Susanoo
