its minato but gai can beat him in 8 gates. if juubidaara can hardly react to 8 gates speed and he effortlessly reacted to sm minato ftg speed then im pretty sure minato even in sm cant beat 8 gates gai.

Im prety sure in the lastest chapter Minato were able to teleport away fast enough before Gai hit him , call me a fanboy but that was a manga fact.

minato is better overall. gai is at the disadvantage because he is one dimensional, although he is a master at it. even with the speed of the gates, minato's own speed coupled with the ftg is almost always going to be faster. the only way to really counter that is to have good enough reflexes to react to the attack after ftg. but if you just mean character, it's still minato, as he is one of the most well written characters in the manga. he may have gotten trolled as of late, but his nickname failkage is undeserved.

Actually, Minato is better. Minato's been shown to be able to react to Guy's speed even in base, meaning he only needs to wait Guy out with FTG. Minato's literally the worst match up for Guy.


Minato's better considering, if you don't have a super-good absolute defense, you're screwed.
