No it is nonsense.
How it looks or seems doesn't mean anything in the world of Manga/Anime.
Right now the only one coming up with nonsense is you..its seemed sandy?..soft ground?...just shows you're obviously biased towards Gai...you're the one always coming up with manga facts and proof..now prove to me the ground was soft and sandy

..don't see how that's soft and sandy
Quote 1: Stop spewing rubbish, please. The fact that I even need to justify this seems like an epitome of stupidity to me. It isn't nonsense because common sense tells us that a sandy-Loam-like area is scientifically, logically, and realistically much much softer than a mountain. The manga author doesn't need to tell you that. He expects people to have a brain, slightly bigger than a raisin.
Quote 2: Onoki used the terms 'I have lightened the sand in the adjacent area'. You can even see that the areas have dunes and the cliffs are extremely small. Mostly, the entire battle-field is covered with sand. So, please tell me how am I wrong, when the area IS sandy? Seriously, is this the level of a general poster here that he/she makes up petty reasoning and cannot seem to tell apart the difference between the durability of a mountain and a sandy ground?
Considering that it isn't a giant chakra entity that dwarfs most of the nv and instead is one man doing it witb his bare fist, it is more impressive.
It doesnt matter what is impressive to you or myself, but to claim that the ground is sandy is utter bullshit.
Ill give you the benefit of doubt and say the top is sandy, not even a quater of the way, the ground would be hard as fk.
You're trying to say gai punched him through a cloud or mud.
The ground is shown to be sandy in several scans, especially the area where Gai struck, as huge volumes of sand blew up into the air as a result of the shock-wave.
The ground gets hard quite far under the surface of the earth. You know, the layer division? It varies according to the areas. A mountain is far more compact and hard a structure to be compared to this. Seriously, what is this bull shit? The area has been shown to be covered with Sand, the cliffs are very small, the kind one would find in a desert in real life, and I am asked to give justifications for this?
My god ... this base. The level of BS is unmatched. You don't agree that I have under-rated Gai, completely understandable. But the ground is not sandy and is comparable to a mountain? At least don't spout this level of degenerate crap.
