Looks
Lee is nicknamed bushy brows by Naruto due to his very thick eyebrows and possesses large, black eyes and prominent lower eyelashes. When younger his hair was fashioned in a long braid and had a center parting. He also wore traditional Chinese clothing. After joining guys team he changed his appearance to emulate his sensei guy. Like Guy his hair is in the style of a bowl cut. Eventually he began to wear the same style of clothes further emulating his sensei and idol. He wore and still wears the same green jumpsuit attire. The only difference between his attire and his sensei's is the bandages he wears around his hands and wrists. The reasons for this is due to the rigorous training he took whilst he was younger. He has a set of stitches on his left hand. In part 2 his appearance never changed much other than he wears a flack jacket showing that he is a chunnin and he is considerably taller.
Personality
Lee is a very energetic, over enthusiastic and very simple minded. Despite his extreme enthusiasm for everything he does he has been shown to be able to keep his composure in battle, remain focused and notice all who are around him. He has assumed a lot of Guy's quirks and has been known to epitomize the nice guy traits. This is noticed by most who meet him. He has also shown to lack in common sense. A prime example of this is his taking of copious notes forgetting that they cannot be checked in battle. He has an unquestionable sense of honor, decorum and respect. He also shows that he does not bear grudges. This is shown early on in the series especially during the chuunin exam arc when his career as a shinobi is nearly ended, he refuses to bear a grudge against gaara. He very quickly forgives gaara for the crushing of his arm and leg. Lee has shown to speak very respectfully using kun, san and sensei wherever possible. Lee tries his best to better himself whenever possible and has a resolve to match. The reason behind this is that whilst younger he was often bullied for not being able to use ninjutsu or genjutsu and wanted to become a splendid shinobi by only using taijutsu. If he ever fails to deliver a promise or fails a mission he sets himself arduous tasks to make up for the failure.

Background info
History
Whilst at the academy he shown know talent for genjutsu or ninjutsu. He was constantly mocked and bullied but this served as his inspiration to be a great shinobi who only used taijutsu. During the chuunin exam arc he and the rest of his team nejii hyuga and tenten acted weak as not to draw attention to themselves but Lee slipped up by interrupting a fight between sasuke and kotetsu hagane. Soon after this he wanted to test his abilities against the sharingan and confronted sasuke. This annoyed naruto and naruto went for lee but lee knocked him out with a simple kick. Whilst fighting with sasuke Guy interrupted it when lee attempted to use the front lotus. He used tentens mirrors to get through the first phase of the chuunin exams. During the second phase of the chuunin exams (the forest of death) lee's team spent the first few days gathering supplies and then split up in search of other teams. Lee found Naruto and the rest of his team and helped them defeat team dosu. Not long after they got through the second phase and onto the preliminaries. Whilst in the preliminaries he was matched up against gaara of the sand village. When his attacks failed to get past gaaras ultimate sand defense's he took of his weights which allowed his speed to increase and land hits on gaara. Lee tried to finish the battle quickly with the front lotus but at the last minute gaara used his sand to cushion the blow. Due to the massive toll it took on his body he couldn't dodge all of gaara's attacks and got his arm and leg crushed. This made lee unconscious and guy stepped in too stop the fight. Despite being unconscious due to his muscle memory lee got back up to continue the fight. Due to the injuries his arm and leg suffered medics feared that he wouldn't be able to walk again and even if he did he wouldn't be able to carry on his career as a shinobi. But due to the fact that naruto and jiraiya brought back tsunade he was able to recover.
