Things that could make the story better...

If Haku joined to the Leaf after naruto showed him Zabuza only was using him as a weapon and after sasuke leaved the village haku teamed up with naruto and sakura... and then the story would go a little bit about the Love Triangle: Haku would have feelings for both Sakura and Naruto, coz his a transgender or somthing you know.
He could replace sai in a way, coz say was a little unnecessary in my opinion.

What do you guys think?

I didnt mean the manga shoud focus on what I wrote, but just the addition of an ice style user who is a transgender would make a good charecter that I thought was missing in this manga.

Nah, Haku had no relevancy beyond that arc. What would make it better would be if many of the K11 would be used more often instead of simple jutsu show-offs. I mean I like the Gai and Rock Lee moment, but what about a little bit more about Ten-Ten? Or Kiba? Or the Hyuuga? Or Shino? Etc. etc. But it's probably too late to properly do this.
