Plot is Gai knowing how to use an 8th gate jutsu perfectly, when NO-ONE has ever practiced or even done it before.
Plot was rock lee throwing Minato's Kunai with such speed that it CAUGHT up to 8th gate guy in less than a second.
Plot is Minato being able to FTG to his Kunai and end up facing what ever way he wants.
Plot is Gai being able to kick up the air without leaving any craters in the floor, and then creating a MASSIVE crater with one that doesn't give him any recoil.

Gai didn't "Own" anyone. He hit Madara with the help of a Dead Hokage, the Kazekage, an MS user and another Gate's user.
Not to mention Madara literally asked for more.

Either way, If he's going so fast, how did Gaara's sand with Kakashi get infront of him? How did Lee's Kunai CATCH UP TO HIM from ages away in LESS than a second?

Madara stood no chance in keeping up with Guys speed! And he has the best Eye's in the manga being able to stop and counter Minato FTg and Tobirama's FTG with out even trying, and FTG is instant! lmao Get real!

There is difference between striking speed and movement speed. Gai has great striking speed than FTG users. Understand that madara countered minato and Tobirama not FTG. they had already teleported themselves they were about to strike when he countered them. bt FTG is faster if mark fomulae is on the person to be attacked because in that situation the FTG user teleport the jutsu.like how minato did the juubidama. If madara was marked then threw one of his orbs at minato. he will simple teleport it into maddy's ass
