Clearly Guy had the upper hand, Madara himself even said Guy's attack was so powerful he could not move


I am taking into account that guy will die eventually, however we do not know how long it lasts, and I comparing 8 gate Guy to jubi Jin Mads strictly on POWER

I'll give Gai the upperhand in speed and strength, though. However, because of Madara's durability, versatility, and longevity, he is the one preceding the greater than sign in this scenario

not even then, throw two meteors on 8 gate guy and hit him with a couple of PS slashes whilst having your susanoo clones play with him. Evening elephant is 5 hits long. He'd be real screwed. Not to mention AWoFT.
On top of that there's still his Juubi sized Katons.
And all the rest of his rinnegan, sharingan, and jinchuuriki powers. Gai just had his moment to shine.

All that being said, Madara is still missing one Rinnegan, and who knows what kind of hype that brings along with it

Well aware, Madara simply has far more fire power than Gai, and has a longer duration at which he can continue to fire it.
